Job Summary

We are seeking a certified Massage Therapist to join our successful clinical spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

We are looking for deep tissue massage therapists (Certified) with a love of their craft, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Preferably with deep tissue/injury based experience. Full or part time is welcome, hence the range in pay listed.

Hours can be somewhat flexible within reason.

All of our staff love what we do and take pride in offering our clients excellent massage therapy - we'd like to bring in another like-minded massage nerd to join our team. Some skill sharpening hands-on training available. We also will help you learn some hand and body saving techniques for your career longevity.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
• Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
• Maintain accurate records of each session
• Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
• Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
• Ensure a clean and safe facility
• Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Capable of performing deep tissue massage modalities
• Punctuality is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
