Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Certified Marine Service Technician to perform service and warranty repairs on boats, motors, trailers and ATVs, following manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes customer service, hands-on diagnostics, and technical training to maintain high quality work and safety standards.

The position requires performing tests with customers, installing accessories, rigging when needed, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.
• Provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems on boats, motors, trailers and ATVs.
• Installs accessory items.
• Assists customers by answering technical questions about operation and work performed.
• Attends technical training to improve proficiency and certifications.
• Water tests units with customers to verify work and explain operation.
• Familiar with painting, decal application and fiberglass repairs.
• Performs rigging as required.
• Maintains a clean, professional work area.
• All other duties as assigned.
