Cornerstone Auto Group is seeking a Certified Light Duty Technician in Minnesota to diagnose and repair vehicles, record work accurately, and communicate with service staff. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced shop.

The technician will work with safety-focused procedures, keep work areas clean, and participate in ongoing training supported by the company’s programs and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technician experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, with little supervision.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs.
• Accurately records all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Effectively communicates with the Service Advisor.
• Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety and/or service work is required or recommended.
• Keeps shop areas neat and clean.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wears appropriate safety equipment.
