Job summary

Midwest Fitness Partners is seeking a customer‑focused cashier to service guests in our video poker gameroom on site in Louisiana. You will handle cash, promote promotions, and ensure accurate counts at shift end with strict adherence to cage procedures.

The role requires standing for the full shift, obtaining necessary gaming permits, and maintaining a high energy level while coordinating with team members to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must obtain State Video Poker permit and related licenses.
• Stand 100% of shift.
• Cashiering background or money handling experience preferred.
• Must have strong math skills.
• Ability to work with the team and communicate effectively.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers in the video poker gameroom.
• Provide drinks, change and promote promotions to customers.
• Operate the assigned bank or window according to procedure.
• Count down bank or window at the end of each shift and reconcile to cage accountability.
• Keep contents of the banks organized for easy counting at shift changes.

Ensures that contents of the banks are organized so they can be readily counted at shift change

Job Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to obtain and/or have possession of a State Video Poker permit, Louisiana vendors servers permit, ABO License and clear state background check (no felonies or misdemeanors for theft or gaming violations. )
• Must be able to stand 100% of shift.
• General cashiering background or prior money handling experience preferred.
• Must have good math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
