Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a per diem laboratory technician to perform waived, moderate, or highly complex tests per CLIA guidelines. The role covers multiple disciplines including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, with responsibilities spanning collection to reporting of results.
The position requires ASCP certification or equivalent, at least two years of hospital lab experience, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. State licensure where required is also expected.
Each individual performs only those waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, responsibilities and must possess a degree of skill commensurate with individual’s education, training or experience and technical abilities. Each individual performing the above procedures must:
