Job summary

UC Health is seeking a sterile processing professional to support the OR and Labor/Delivery departments with decontamination, preparation, sterilization, tray assembly and instrument distribution.

The ideal candidate will have CRCST certification or be a graduate of Surgical Technology, with CRCST maintained annually if not a pure Surgical Technology graduate, and ideally 1 year of sterile processing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CRCST program or graduate of Surgical Technology program.
• CRCST certification required; maintain annually for non-Surgical Technology graduates.
• 1 year sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all activities associated with decontamination, clean prep, tray assembly, sterilization, distribution and acquiring of instruments and supplies for the OR and L/D Departments.
