Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) supports the Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) Facilities Department by developing, implementing, and maintaining industrial hygiene programs across BMC‑South, BMC‑Brighton, and associated satellite clinics. Reporting to the Executive Director of Facilities Management, the role conducts indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments, USP797 sampling, exposure evaluations, and environmental monitoring to ensure a safe and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position operates with general supervision and collaborates closely with Facilities, Occupational Health, Infection Prevention, and departmental leadership. The CIH divides time between both campuses and may occasionally support BMC Main as needed.
Compensation Range: $78,000.00–$113,000.00.
