Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA is seeking a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist to operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and related systems under supervision. You will ensure safe daily operation and adherence to safety protocols within the Wound Care Center.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
CHT or DMT certification required, interim status allowed until certification attained.
Certification within two years of hire required.
Attend approved HBO safety course.
Attend approved Hyperbaric Safety Officer course.
Complete NBMT-approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course.
Complete competency skills checklist.
Acceptable certifications include CHT, DMT, EMT, LPN/LVN, RN, or RRT/RCP-State.

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains hyperbaric chambers and related support systems.
Performs day-to-day maintenance of hyperbaric equipment and systems.
Follows supervision by Medical Director, Wound Care Center Director, and Clinical Coordinator.
