Job summary

LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a Certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC/R systems across multi-family properties. You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Travel across Southeast Michigan is required; you will join a team that values customer service, quality workmanship, and on-call rotation as part of a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

  • HVAC certification required (EPA Section 608 Certification required).
  • Valid HVAC Technician license or certification, if required by state or local regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation and service experience preferred.
  • Mechanical license.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to our communities throughout Southeast Michigan.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and company standards.
  • Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, as required.
