Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors in New Jersey is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) and Caregivers to support seniors across Essex and Union Counties. Immediate positions offer $20.00/hr daytime and $22.00/hr nights & weekends with a mix of full-time, part-time, and respite shifts.

We match you with steady clients and provide onboarding quickly. Direct owner leadership support and ongoing training are available as you build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients at home.

Qualifications

• Active NJ CHHA Certification (Required).
• Valid Driver's License and a reliable, insured vehicle for client transportation (Required).
• Open availability for daytime, weekend, or overnight shifts is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Memory Care: Meaningful engagement, activities, and support for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Personal Care (ADLs): Safe assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Nutrition & Homemaking: Meal planning, cooking, and light housekeeping.
• Transportation & Errands: Transporting clients to medical appointments and community outings.
