Job summary

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance is hiring Certified Home Health Aides and Companion Caregivers to provide compassionate care in Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth counties. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, reporting health data, and coordinating appointments.

Roles may be full-time, part-time, or per-diem with hourly pay range: $18–$20. Benefits include flexible scheduling, paid orientation, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• NJ Licensed Certified Home Health Aide is a must.
• 2-step PPD required.
• Physical within the last 12 months.
• MMR vaccination.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing or bathing.
• Record and report data as medically necessary.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and family members.
• Plan for doctor's appointments and may organize transportation.
• Work as facility staff, hourly or live-in based on assignment.
• Light housekeeping, meal prep, errands as needed.
• Report patient health status to nurses.
