Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in Newark to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care. Weekend opportunities are available, with flexible schedules including full-time and part-time roles. Qualifications

Valid NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License
Willingness to work in Newark and surrounding areas
Willingness to work Weekends
English/Bilingual English preferred
Reliable transportation, drivers preferred
Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty

Responsibilities

Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
Frequent standing and walking; assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
Help with daily care like dressing, bathing, and meals
Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
Communicate concerns and escalation safety issues as needed
Be a friendly face and a steady presence
