Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required or preferred.
• CHHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep home safe and clean.
• Monitor and report changes in health status to care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided.
