Job summary

Elderly Savior Homecare is actively hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Open cases are available across Morris, Essex, Passaic, Union, Hudson, and Middlesex counties. The role requires NJ CHHA certification, a HS diploma or GED, and CPR certification. Flexible hours and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification – New Jersey.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR certification (preferred or required based on case).
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with disabilities, mental health conditions, or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with medication reminders (as permitted).
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
• Participate in ongoing in-service training.
