Job summary

Right at Home of Central New Jersey is seeking a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties. You will support seniors to age in place by assisting with daily activities and coordinating with family members and healthcare professionals.

• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide is a must

• As a Certified Home Health Aide you will be able to do facility work, hourly as well as live in.

Job description

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to make a difference by providing compassionate and meaningful care in the areas of Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties. Help seniors stay at home and age in place by providing support with their daily activities.

Certified Home Health Aides must be detail-oriented and be able to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient’s care. Aides must adhere to instructions from doctors and nurses, such as knowing how to care for a minor medical issue or letting them know about changes in the patient’s health. They should be trustworthy and dependable so the patient and their family feel comfortable relying on them.

Certified Home Health Aides should have the following skills and qualifications:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
• 2-step PPD

• Light housekeeping- dusting, mopping, laundry, etc.
• Prepping and cooking meals
• Grocery shopping
• Reporting to nurses about patients health status
• Teaching patients self-care skills

• Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem Salary: $18-20 per hour (depending on experience and case)
