Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program
• One (1) year of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Licensed driver with insured car and proof of insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high‑quality care
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
• Ability to provide support for push/pull, bend, lift, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs based on client mobility

Pay

Competitive pay ranges up to $23.00/hr depending on shift and assignment.
