Right at Home is seeking Skilled Caregivers and Certified Home Health Aides to join our team for part-time in-home care in New Jersey. Positions start at $20 per hour with 8- and 16-hour shifts available.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, with additional patient-specific tasks taught by a Right at Home nurse. NJ CHHA license required, 1+ year experience preferred.

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide is a must.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile

Mansioni

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bath, grooming, in bed or bathroom).
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist with eating and dressing/shaving.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry, cleaning bathroom).
• Medication reminders and assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

We have immediate part-time positions available for 8 and 16 hour facility shifts starting at $20 per hour. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Measuring and preparing special diets
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/ Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
