Job summary

ComForCare is seeking caring CHHA-certified aides to join our team in New Jersey. You will provide in-home care, helping clients maintain safety, comfort, and independence in their daily lives.

This role requires a CHHA license, high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and a compassionate approach. You’ll support mobility, meals, housekeeping, and companionship for families in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) licensed in the state.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Caregiving experience in homes or senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client transfers, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Safely perform physical duties including movement of clients requiring substantial support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Plan, prepare, and assist with meals and feeding.
• Manage household needs for the client’s comfort and safety.
• Provide companionship and respite services for families.
