Job summary

You will work closely with the care team, document visits, assist with ADLs, and support families. Current CHHA license and CPR are preferred; EVV/EHR familiarity helps, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CHHA license/certification in good standing.
• CPR Certification (American Heart - preferred)
• Familiarity with EVV or electronic health records is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to follow a written plan of care and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as ordered on the plan of care.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse in a timely fashion.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises.
• Maintain accurate daily visit records and document care provided electronically or on paper.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's comfort and dignity.

Compensation

• $18.00/visit for a regular aide visit
• $18.00/hour for homemaker aide program

Please note this is a part-time position leading up to a full-time position.
