Dharma Home Care is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to join our team in New Jersey. This role focuses on client-centered care, daily living support, and maintaining safety and dignity for clients in their homes.

Ideal candidates hold an active NJ CHHA license, have reliable transportation, and can provide references and employment history. Ongoing training, advancement opportunities, and flexible scheduling are offered across NJ.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Pass a national criminal background check (plus any NJ state screenings).
• Provide proof of health requirements: physical within last year, negative TB test or chest X-ray, and MMR vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support client independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing.
• Follow individualized care plans and document activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff.

Position Overview

We are currently building our pool of compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who value personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional, client-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff

All Shifts Available – Hourly Caregivers Needed

• Hourly Care: Starting at $19.50/hour
• Flexible Schedules: Full-time, part-time, or per diem (subject to shift availability)

Minimum Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• References: Must provide at least two verifiable professional references.
• Work History: Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey).
• Health Requirements: Must provide proof of the following:
  • Valid physical examination within the last year
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
