Job summary
CARE AND LIFE HOME HEALTH SERVICES is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to assist in daily living and personal care in patient homes per an established care plan. The patient has 23 hours approved.
The schedule includes Mon-Tue-Thu 9am-3pm and Fri 9am-2pm. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities include providing healthcare services, assisting with mobility, transporting to appointments, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining care records.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as home health aide.
- Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens?
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards.
- Proficiency in English.
- Nursing and health care administration skills.
- Current CPR certificate.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Administer simple prescribed medications
- Assist with client's personal care activities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
- Collect routine specimens
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
