Job summary

Maya Home Care is seeking HHA certified caregivers to join our growing team in New Jersey. You will provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, helping with daily activities, monitoring wellbeing, and ensuring safety with compassion and respect.

We value reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A NJ HHA certification and CHHA eligibility are required, along with a high school diploma/GED.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• Experience in home care or related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Monitor and report changes in health status to care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
