Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) in several New Jersey locations, including Westfield, Elizabeth, Cranford, Union, Rahway, Plainfield, Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, and all of Union County. Roles are available for full-time and part-time with base pay of $20/hour and short visits paid at a higher rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work references in any type of field.
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• No license? We offer Home Health Aide Certification courses.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Bathing
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
