Job summary

Select Medical in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a PRN Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic. You will evaluate and treat upper extremity disorders, including post-operative conditions, tendon injuries, sprains, and fractures, with emphasis on custom splinting.

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy.
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy.
• National registration and state licensure required.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Experience with custom splinting pre- and post-op orthopedic; marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and communications of high quality hand therapy services.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive interaction with facilities and clients; expand client relations.

Overview

Position: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

Location:San Antonio, TX

Schedule:PRN, as needed

Compensation: $50.00/hour

We are seeking a PRN Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our team at our outpatient orthopedic clinic!

In this role, you’ll treat various upper extremity disorders including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. Experience in custom splinting is required.

Our regional hand therapy coordinator will work with you to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications
