Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift (8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday) in Ladson, SC. Candidate will move products throughout the warehouse using forklift and other material handling equipment, and support loading/unloading of trucks.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and 1 year warehouse experience. RF scan gun experience is a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate/drive warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks) in a safe manner.
• Pull routes, stage freight, and assist Drivers with loading/unloading.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, and counting as required.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS& D).
• Follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to TSA and OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
