The ideal candidate has experience operating powered industrial trucks, performs pre-use inspections, and adheres to safety procedures, including OSHA forklift certification and PPE training. Training and orientation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit‑down forklifts, stand‑up forklifts, and reach trucks where applicable.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks, dock plates, racks, pallets, trailers, and scanners.
• Ability to work safely around battery charging or fueling areas.
• Must complete required New Hire Orientation and PPE training.
• Must complete OSHA Powered Industrial Truck/Forklift Certification.
• Must follow Hazard Communication, dock safety, lithium battery handling awareness, and pedestrian safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to move pallets, battery components, finished goods, and supplies.
• Transport materials between receiving, production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Perform pre-use inspections on forklift equipment before operation.
• Follow all traffic rules and workplace safety procedures.
• Stage materials safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Support the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility.
