Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in New York, NY who is factory-trained and certified with Notifier, Honeywell, or Edwards EST. The role installs, tests, services, and troubleshoots multi-brand fire alarm systems for commercial clients.

Candidates should have hands-on installation experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. NICET II or S98 is a plus; we offer competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Technical experience in fire alarm installations, repair, and maintenance.
  • Must have Notifier, Honeywell, or Edwards EST factory training and certification.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • NICET Level II or S98 certification is a plus!
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, commission, service, and program fire alarm systems (both new and existing).
  • Troubleshoot and program multi-brand fire alarm systems from various manufacturers.
  • Diagnose system failures, replace defective components, and perform troubleshooting with electronic equipment.
  • Work with various fire alarm systems, including Notifier and Edwards panels
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and strong work habits.

Job description
