Albers Aerospace in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Certified Electrician to support mechanical maintenance, assist with facility projects, and participate in safety and process-improvement initiatives within a heavy manufacturing environment.

You will read electrical schematics, troubleshoot industrial systems, and use testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters) to ensure safe, compliant operation of electrical distribution and motor controls. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, or commercial electrical experience.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, and related diagnostic tools.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support mechanical maintenance activities as needed.

Schedule

The standard schedule consists of 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday or 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday. Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed to meet workload demands.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
  • Technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field.

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to elevated noise levels, hazardous chemicals and odors, and airborne particles or flying debris. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures is essential.
