Job summary

ALBD Electric & Cable seeks a certified electrical professional to independently perform commercial installations and demonstrate strong technical competency, code application, troubleshooting, productivity, quality, and accountability. The CJ-1 role executes work per project drawings, NEC, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.

Responsibilities include installation planning, interpreting plans, safe troubleshooting, and coordinating with the team.

Qualifications

Journeyman certification required for the role.
Proficient in commercial electrical installation, blueprint interpretation, NEC application.
Strong troubleshooting, planning, and productivity abilities.
Ability to maintain safety, quality, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Independently plan and perform commercial electrical installations (raceways, feeders, branch circuits, lighting, power, panels, transformers, disconnects, motors).
Interpret drawings, specs, one-lines, risers, panel schedules, and equipment documentation; apply NEC and project requirements.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment safely and effectively.
Plan materials, tools, and sequence; conduct takeoffs and organize work to meet production goals.
Ensure quality, labeling, supports, terminations, testing, and completeness; coordinate with team.
Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians; communicate needs to Foreman.
Maintain a safety-first approach and clean, organized work areas.
