Job summary

Acuren is seeking Level II Eddy Current Technicians to support on-site operations in Billings, Montana. The role requires familiarity with NDT methods and mentorship of junior technicians, with local relocation preferred.

Candidates should hold NAS 410 certification or equivalent and demonstrate strong report-writing skills and safety compliance. Local candidates or willingness to relocate are preferred due to on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in Eddy Current/NDT.
• NAS 410 certification or equivalent.
• Experience with NDT methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and safety compliance.
• Apply criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs or digital readouts and report findings.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections as needed.
• May supervise others on site.
• Assist management with additional tasks.
