Qualifications

• Graduate of school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RDCS Certification.
• Registration/License/Certification required.
• BLS upon hire.
• RDCS certification or eligibility.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to pinpoint imaging area.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions in the work environment.
• Ability to act calmly and effectively in busy or stressful situations.
• Excellent English communication in person, by phone and in writing.
• Adherence to all policies including safety, attendance, punctuality and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic tests for patients.
• Operate echocardiography equipment.
• Maintain quality control standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Establish and maintain relationships with patients, medical staff, management and peers.
