Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Petco Certified Dog Trainer to enhance the bond between pet parents and their dogs. You will deliver one-on-one sessions and group classes, while guiding families on training goals, nutrition, and essentials.

You will complete the DTIP training and contribute to a high-quality guest experience in our Pet Care Centers, including weekends and evenings as needed.

• Physical stamina to stand and train with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Class Dog Training Services, including sessions and classes.
• Complete training modules and pass the DTIP program.
• Recommend and sell training classes and supplies.
• Keep accurate records of trainings and progress.
• Collaborate with grooming and veterinary teams for holistic care.
• Maintain a high level of expertise through ongoing training.
