Job summary

Senior Suites Healthcare in Broken Arrow is seeking an organized Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department and ensure high-quality meal service for residents. You will direct planning, inventory, and nutrition plans, while coordinating with care teams and attending care plan meetings.

The role requires experience running a commercial kitchen, long-term care food service background, and strong supervision skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• 1 year in Long-Term Care food service (Preferred).
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct all aspects of the dietary department.
• Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., related to the Dietary department.
• Train and supervise other dietary employees.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Prepare lists of food necessary to fill menu needs for general and modified diets.
• Check all food deliveries and sign delivery ticket; assign if absent.
• Take monthly inventory.
• Keep monthly meal census.
• Observe trays to ensure accuracy of therapeutic diets.
• Prepare monthly dietary reports.
• Visit patients regularly.
• Attend patient care plan meetings.
• Write progress notes on all residents.
• Supervise food prep, tray service, and dining room operations on duty.
• Develop and enforce cleaning schedule.
• Observe plate waste to check acceptability of food and diet.
• Staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and scheduling for department.
