Job summary

Compass Group is seeking a driven Nutrition Care Manager (CDM or DTR) at our senior living site in Auburn, NY. You will work closely with a Registered Dietitian to support resident health through personalized nutrition care, shape menus, and lead daily dining operations.

This role blends clinical insight with team leadership and a clear focus on quality, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction. Competitive hourly salary ($19.00-$20.00) and a comprehensive benefits package await.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
• Credentialed as a CDM or DTR (preferred).
• Experience in senior living, healthcare foodservice, or supervisory roles a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Resident Nutrition Care: Conduct nutrition screenings, implement individualized care plans, and monitor residents’ progress in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian.
• Menu Planning & Dining Experience: Partner with the dining team to plan resident-centered menus and ensure high-quality, enjoyable meal service.
• Team Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, train, and motivate dining services staff to deliver excellence while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
• Quality & Satisfaction Initiatives: Lead or participate in quality improvement efforts that enhance resident satisfaction, streamline operations, and improve clinical outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing adherence to HIPAA, federal and state regulations, and facility policies related to nutrition care and foodservice operations.

• ServSafe® certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, EMRs, nutrient analysis, and diet office systems
