Qualifications

• Ford Diesel Certification or equivalent required.
• 3+ years diesel repair experience (Ford trucks/commercial).
• Strong diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and powertrain.
• Proficient with Ford factory diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and complex diesel repairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, powertrains, and related systems on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and drivability systems.
• Utilize Ford factory-level diagnostic tools and service software to resolve issues.
• Complete repair orders with precision, documenting labor, parts, and services accurately.
• Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting flat-rate expectations.
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
• Recommend additional repairs and preventative maintenance to customers when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to dealership safety protocols and manufacturer standards.
