Job summary

Methodist McKinney Hospital in McKinney, TX is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform the full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision. You will assist with invasive ultrasound biopsy procedures and ensure accurate documentation and communication of findings to the radiology team.

The role requires ARDMS registration or credentialing in physics, vascular and abdominal areas preferred, and ongoing BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration with credentialing preferred.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Under indirect supervision, performs full range of diagnostic Ultrasound procedures per Radiologist protocols.
• Assists physicians with invasive ultrasound biopsy procedures.
• Performs and evaluates ultrasound exams with accurate documentation and communication to Radiologist.
• Operates imaging support equipment including transducers, RIS and PACS.
• Maintains inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms; ensures patient comfort and safety.
