Job summary

Dentistry on the Blv is seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, provide excellent patient care, and handle scheduling and administrative tasks.

A current license and prior experience are preferred for delivering top-tier dental care in a friendly, family-like environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CODA-certified program.
• Current CDA certificate or DANB RDA licensure.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
