Job summary

BACHARA & BRYAN PLLC in North Carolina is seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, manage scheduling, and ensure a friendly, caring patient experience.

The ideal candidate holds a current CDA (or DANB) license and has at least two years of dental assisting experience, strong data entry skills, and excellent communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a program certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
• CDA certificate or RDA license issued by DANB.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
