Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate cranes and other power construction equipment in Apple Grove, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a certification, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and strong communication skills. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy loads. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass certification prior to operating equipment.
• DOT physical may be required.
• 1000 hours seat time in the field.
• Ability to distinguish colors for crane operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment which lifts, hoists or moves materials.
• Inspect equipment daily for safe operation.
• Direct workers engaged in crane operations.
• Maintain equipment using grease gun and oil can.
• Verify load weights and operate within specified limits.
