Job summary

Resolve Salvage Inc is seeking a Crane Operator (Transportation) to safely oversee crane and lifting operations. The role requires performing daily inspections, operating crane equipment, coordinating lifts, and maintaining equipment per maintenance programs.

Qualified candidates will hold NCCCO certification and ensure JSAs are in place for all lifts, with strong attention to safety and proper signaling.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily inspection sheets at the start of each shift and turns sheets into the Facility Superintendent or Project Manager daily.
• Operates all equipment in a safe manner.
• Ensures Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) are in place for all lifting operations, involving all participants.
• Performs pre-use checks prior to commencing operations and reports defects to the Supervisor.
• Selects appropriate lifting gear and ensures lifting appliances and gear are in good condition per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintains the lifting appliance per the maintenance program and conducts general maintenance as needed.
• Performs pre-use check of the lifting appliance and ensures clear communication among all personnel involved.
• Coordinates the lifting operation with other ongoing activities.
• Reports damage to cranes, equipment, or installations immediately to the Supervisor.
• Able to operate lattice boom, friction style, crawler cranes and rough terrain hydraulic cranes from floating platforms.
• Other duties as assigned.
