Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions Inc is seeking a certified Crane Operator in Ocoee, FL. This full-time role involves operating a crane, reading plans, planning lifts, and working with a ground crew to ensure safe, efficient rigging and unrigging on outdoor sites.

Responsibilities include pre-operational checks, maintaining equipment, and completing required paperwork. A CDL, crane certification, and 2+ years of crane experience are required, with strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Crane Operators Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a crane.
• Must hold a valid class one driver's license.
• Must understand the functions and limitations of the crane.
• Ability to solve problems and handle high-stress situations professionally.
• Oversee the crane's general condition and notify maintenance when needed.
• Stay alert and maintain concentration; assess hazards.

Role Description

Traffic Management Solutions is looking for a certified Crane Operator to help our growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane to lift, move, position and place equipment or materials.


• Read and interpret plans or designs to understand the requirements of the job.


• Assist in the planning and development of pick plans for site specific operations.


• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.


• Safely operate a crane while maintaining communication with the ground crew for safe and efficient rigging and unrigging


• Understanding the crane's load chart, notes and warnings and being able to calculate or determine the crane's actual net capacity for all possible configurations of the machine


• Competent in completing all necessary pre-job paperwork as well as logbook following the completion of the job


• Other Duties as assigned
