Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of court reporting experience.
• Certification: one of Georgia Certified Court Reporter, Georgia Realtime License, or National Realtime License.

Responsibilities

• Attending hearing or Court sessions and reporting verbatim testimony (via recording devices and/or shorthand) of non/jury (pleas, motions, rules, etc.), civil/criminal proceedings as assigned.
• Preparing verbatim transcripts of hearings and trials as provided by law and as requested by Judges, DAs, and attorneys.
• Maintaining year-to-date records of said proceedings.
• Processing billing notices for reporting/transcribed
• Preparing weekly reports and maintains records of same.
• Furnishing copies of transcribed testimonies, etc. to attorneys and other interested parties.
• Performing other clerical tasks necessary for completion of Court functions
