Job summary

Mosquito Joe is hiring a Certified Pesticide Applicator in Grand Rapids to lead our outdoor pest control team. You’ll work outdoors, travel locally, and help customers while upholding Mosquito Joe standards.

Maintain Michigan Core and Mosquito 7F licenses, stay compliant with regulations, and train franchise owners and technicians, while ensuring excellent service and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Maintain current state certifications/licenses to service properties.
• Experience in pest control or outdoor services preferred.
• Ability to lead field teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with licensing requirements and proficiency.
• Deliver professional customer service following our process.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Your Mission if You Choose to Accept It - Responsibilities as a Certified Pesticide Applicator...

• Stay up to date - Maintain licensing requirements and proficiency to conduct Mosquito Joe services.
• Doing It with Style - As the face of the Mosquito Joe brand, you bring professionalism by following our Mosquito Joe process. In addition, you go above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable customer service experience.
• Stay off radar - Ensure company is in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Be all knowing - Provide expert advice and training to franchise business owner, field technicians and customers on outdoor pest control. Oversee day-to-day operations, track inventory and handle customer complainants with professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

• You must be able to lift and carry a backpack, which weighs 65 lbs.
• Maintain current and valid state certifications/licenses to service residential and commercial properties - Michigan Core and Mosquito 7F are the minimum license requirements. More than 1 year of experience.

The starting pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 plus commission and depends on level of experience. Good growth opportunities, health care and 401K options are available.
