McLeod Careers Section seeks a Medical Assistant to work closely with physicians in a clinical setting. You will assess patient needs, perform direct patient care, prepare for examinations, administer medications, and conduct specialized tests. You will also ensure clean examination rooms, manage supplies, and contribute to QA projects while supporting a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• At least one year of experience in a physician’s office or clinical setting.
• Must be Registered or State Certified as a Medical Assistant with accrediting board.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Perform direct patient care and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer medications and conduct specialized tests and procedures as directed.
• Schedule appointments and handle telephone consultations.
• Maintain clean and well-equipped examination rooms and manage medical supplies.
• Contribute to departmental QA projects and participate in a team-based practice environment.
