Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care services to clients in their homes across the community. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually).
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal caregiving services in the client’s home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with special diets.
• Perform general housekeeping and household support.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Administer medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations.
• Assist with Passive Range of Motion activities when credentialed and trained.
• Offer limited vitals checks for informational purposes per company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate communication and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Other duties as assigned.

External Job Description

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients

• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, including completion of Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required

• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintains accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the appropriate care team
• Other duties as assigned
