Job summary

Because We Care is seeking a compassionate, certified caregiver to provide personalized care for a mid-age patient in Georgia. Responsibilities include daily living support, companionship, meal prep, and medication administration under professional guidance.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal communication, reliability, and the ability to lift/move patients as needed, with a focus on improving quality of life and safety.

Qualifications

• Current certification as CNA, CHHA or PCA.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred, especially with young adults or specific health needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient and dedicated to high-quality care.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient with daily living activities including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage the patient in social and recreational activities.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding the patient’s needs and progress.
• Document care provided and any changes in the patient’s condition.
