Job summary

Upscale Home Care is seeking a Certified Caregiver for Veterans in Maricopa, AZ to deliver compassionate in-home care to our veteran clients. You will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and mobility support, while ensuring a safe, respectful living environment.

The role offers both part-time and full-time schedules, with opportunities to build meaningful relationships and provide companionship to heroes in their own homes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare or related field.
• Certified Caregiver certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to seniors and veterans.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical caregiving services to veteran clients (daily living activities, light housekeeping, personal care).
• Prepare meals, manage medication schedules, and escort clients to appointments.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment while preserving dignity and independence.
• Build strong relationships with clients and families, offering emotional support and companionship.

About the Role

In this part-time and full-time position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our veteran clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing non-medical caregiving services to our veteran clients, including assistance with daily living activities, household chores, and personal care
• Preparing meals, managing medication schedules, and escorting clients to appointments
• Maintaining a safe and clean living environment, ensuring the highest level of dignity and independence for our clients
• Building strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry or a related field
• Certified Caregiver certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
