Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in the Odessa, WA area. You will support daily living activities, assist with meals, transport to appointments, and offer companionship in a respectful, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• CNA license required; renewable annually.
• Ability to pass a BCCU background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal caregiving in clients' homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with special diets.
• Perform light housekeeping and homemaking tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Administer medications as delegated and per state rules.
• Document client condition and report changes to the care team.
• Support passive range of motion activities when trained.
• Adhere to company guidelines for vital sign observation.

External Job Description

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients
• Prepares meals and assisting with special diets
• Performs general housekeeping and household support activities
• Provides compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assists with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, including completion of Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained
• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintains accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the appropriate care team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually)
• Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgmentMust be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
