Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with compassionate daily care, respecting their dignity and independence. You will work under the guidance of branch leadership to implement service plans and engage residents in activities that promote quality of life.

Requirements include an active CNA license, high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Willing to take additional training which states may require.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
