Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Technician at Medical City Plano to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will scrub, prepare supplies, maintain the sterile field, and assist with catheters and devices under physician supervision.

You will monitor hemodynamics and ECG data, manage imaging, and ensure equipment is calibrated and ready for complex procedures. Join a team that values patient care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or RT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional CV procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and manage cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices.
• Inject contrast media and medications from the sterile field under physician supervision.
• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring and interpret data.
• Maintain and process images for stenosis analysis, formatting, and processing on cardiac and peripheral cases.
• Calibrate and maintain complex equipment and report needed repairs.
